I've been silent for the last month, because you know,
I have a plan, then life has a plan, and guess what?
Life said "You have to wait!"
I thought by this time, I would be on my next adventure securing my investment.
Yet, I'm still in Singapore....
Also, my housing situation was a bit in crisis,
living in a hostel, then I had a bright idea to save money I would
sleep at the airport for a few days (I wouldn't recommend)
I thought wow, I may have hit rock bottom,
but Changi Airport is the best in the world so, it wasn't all too bad :)
The current situation is this, I've been in Singapore for 8 weeks and 5 days,
and the next step is securing an investment and build the business.
But, I have to wait. And I'm not used to waiting :/
So it gave me time to think,
despite all the challenges I faced over the last few weeks,
I'm still optimistic and hopeful.
This journey to building a business in a foreign land is NOT easy,
and I didn't think for a second about quitting, because I got
this far, it wouldn't make sense to quit when I'm so close!
So I went into "survival mode" to get my housing in check.
And with G-d's help, I got out of rock bottom.
Thanks to the community I'm part of,
there is light at the "end of the tunnel. "
And looking back at the "dark moment" I really don't have much to complain about.
I'm healthy, I have an American passport, I'm educated,
I have a safety net, and a community to help me.
Right now, like any other day, I face a lot of uncertainty.
So in the meantime, whileI'm waiting, I can focus on writing my book.
As always, thank you for reading!
